Would anybody have the installation directions for a MCF Flathead Oil Filter modification? I have one of these on a motor that lost oil pressure while running and want to revert back to the original style pump. I can see that it requires replacing the pump but I am trying to figure out where the oil p***ages were plugged or drilled out to run this.

Thanks Appreciate the help. It appears the block is not modified so I can reverse the changes just by replacing the oil pump.
Make certain the rear oil p***age from the original oil pump has not been plugged off . Otherwise the new factory style pump will not be able feed oil correctly. Look inside the block at the vertical and horizontal holes to make certain a plug hasn’t been installed . Better to be safe then sorry . If you have any pics,,that will help too . This is an example of what I’m talking about,,,,,,the oil p***ages connect at this point,,,,,vertical and horizontal . If blocked off ,,,the horizontal will have a plug inserted at this point . Tommy
I took some pictures and there appears to be no plug. The small bung is for an oil pressure gauge and the other runs to the filter base.
I checked to see if the drive gear on the cam may have sheared a key/spins but it all appears to work and the gear does not rotate free on the cam end. I also checked the pan and there is not really much metal or trash I would expect from a spun bearing. It also occurs to me to try to cut the oil filter apart as there may be more metal in it?
