well ive been busting my butt lately trying to get this car looking like something
got the motor and tranny mounted...the rear in with the torque tube cut down
the front end is all together with the spring behind the axle
i'm waiting to put the ends of the wishbone on till i get the "stance" right
in order to get the caster right

i think the rear needs to come down about an inch and the front end up about 1/2
the oil pan is 4.5" off the ground right now
i just cut the door last night and put the skin on with the hinges but i havent done anything to finish it...just cut it and sprayed it to look like a car

this is a sport coupe by the way

does it look like its on the right track or do any of the proportions look out of wack?
its going to get an all aluminum nose and hood and a 6inch deep belly pan

    let me know any input
    thanks alot
    zach

I second the opinion on the stance. If you want it to look like it ran at Muroc, you're about at the right height I would say. Belly pan will make it appear lower. I think that is a great start, can't wait to see the nose done.

I like the mocked up rolled frame horn cover piece, I'm definitely going to have to incorporate that into my '26. I was wondering where you were going with that T grille shell, but it sounds like you're going to build a nose for it.

In that case, i'd say it looks good. Don't make it stupid-low. The height is good, as long as it's even from front to back. (hard to tell in the pics)

I love the fairing in front of the grille shell! It looks like a '20s race car. Is that a T grille shell? I never would have thought one would look so good on an A.

    Nice work!

the car has a bit of a rake...well alot of a rake
i'm thinking about changing it slightly but not really make the car look any lower...just even it out

the 6 inch belly pan will make it look low without the whole car being knee high
plus its a coupe body so its about 2 inches taller then a roadster in the sides anyways

the fairing on the front is the one for my 32 frame just to get the look
and as for the T shell...i cant beleive it looks good too....but its just there to give the illusion of the front end untill i actually make the aluminum nose

the car is channeled 4 inches...and that T shell matched up there pretty nice

    thanks

the addition of a belly pan is going to make the car look like its dropped a bit more. although, in your drawings the tail is lower than what you currently have, lowering it the amounts (front/back) you specified in your original post will only make it look better.... go for it.

including the sketches deffinately helps tie everything together, i think it looks great

I like the way it sits too, but maybe with some taller tires on the back, then you'll have to lower the back to make up for it though. What's under that tarp
