after the base..some hok sunset pearl , i added some Orange and gold pearl to give it our own touch..

 

now ready for the wet sanding...

 

Man, i just read all 35 pages, i really gotta find something better to do with my time.

I gotta say though, you're an inspiration. Not only what you're doing with cars, but how you're helping kids(well i should be saying that, i bet their the same age, if not older than me) It really shows that there are still people with good intentions out there. I hope to one day be able to build cars to the quality of yours. This thread really makes me want to go outside and start working on my truck.

I love your threads, been following this one since the beginning, you do some terrific work but what is way more important is what you try do for the young ones in the neighborhood, your are one fine person.

Some day I would like to do the RT 66 trip in the sled and stop in to shake your hand and tell you face to face what a fine gentleman you truly are.

I liked watching that '51 Merc coupe chop progress in the second to last picture set haha. Great work guys, and Jesse you are truly an inspiration, and would be even if you didn't customize cars!

 

Jesse, love the impala pics. sorry to hear about your nephew...we can't save them all. My best friend died in my arms as well when I was 16 from rival gangs. Judging from the smiling pictures you posted of the crew, you're doing as best as you can...props to you.

we all sit and talk shit about the kids out gangbanging, running the streets and in and out of trouble..most of you have never been there..but some of us can say we been there done that..to those of you who have MY HATS OF TO YOU..CAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING BOUT..
when im out driving..i see some young homies walking the streets up to no good..i pull over and ask them if they want a job..even if i dont have work..just to get them off the streets..even if its just for that day...give them a chance..for some thats all it takes...
so NICK and all of you who who read this..give at least one kid a chance..maybe some day he will give another kid that chance....just my spam....LORDZ OF KUSTOMZ...
