OK, OK! I will admit that I didn't think you'd have anything as nice to show, because of the use of the z in your posts, but I was wrong. Really wrong. Sweet Mercury, man. You have the top and especially the rear window layed just right. Very, very impressive! Trad sleds are in good hands with you young guys. (Hello Dante!) Really, man. Knocked my hat right into the floor! I keep going back and staring. Sledsville!
chill phil, thankzz for the propz on our work. we are in the middle of building another merc here at the shop and i will post piks of the build from time to time........hope you enjoy.
Jesse. Propz to yer work. I m a wagon owner. I have a '53 Plymouth. Would like to know if ya got any tips on what you would do to it AS IN A LITTLE CUSTOM WORK. pm me yer thoughts. Thanks. KNUX!
proof that you should never judge some one for the way they dress.speak, spell, or the hood they grew up in......like me.. always give a person a chance to show what they can do. maybe you can learn something from that.. or show them how its done.....just my 2 centzzzzzz
Shit if I didn't have a wife, kid, job, family I would be over there in a shot Ah crap. Mayby in another life LOL
Hey lordz, got any piks of the interior? Car has one bad ass stance to it. Shows mucho attitude. Not to mention the grill work. Good job!
seeing that pic of the buffing just made me cringe!!!!mercs arent a big car till you start buffing! ide rather give my self paper cuts and pour laquer thinner on em than buff! haha nice stuff, dave
Lordz - Where are you in LA? Those look like the warehouses down off of La Cienega south of the 10. I love those little turn signal lights (?) they give nice subtle tear drop effect to the headlights. That one pic you post is probably the software or the lighting but it looks like deep purple coming off the paint edges in the light. Badass either way. What chassis did you use? Care to post a build sheet? What are your rates? Ball park? I'm still trying to think of any use I could put the chassis to on my 49 Lincoln... 49Lincoln
wazzaap 49lincoln.. we are in the southside just off the 110frwy and slauson. do a search on LORDZ and you should be able to find some build up piks of this merc. if i start puttuing up prices i will get screamed at by the hamb patrol for SPAMMING...LOL . as for the frame this car is sitting on a 77 olds frame and floor. disc brakes on all 4 corners. air ride, crate 350. 700r trans..A,C. call me 323-233-3224 or stop by the shop
That thing is absolute perfection! What kind of rubber is on that car, I have had a hard time finding a good looking whitewall tire for my 54 and they look perfect. And let me state, DAMN thats a fine ass .
damn you sold the blue chevy? i remember seeing that thing when i worked in Boyle Heights and used to see it driving around City Terrace. it got painted nice and shiney eh? looks good that way
FucknA!! One of the baddest Mercs I've ever seen. No unnecessary chrome, no gay fake scopes, black paint and a KILLER chop! Very nice work!!!!
Nice build pics. Especially the rear window/roof slices and the new rockers channelled onto the late model floorboard. I thought those were Buick headlight bezels at first. Looks like some slicing and dicin' on those headlight rings, what are they?
