Thank to everyone for thoughts and prayers .

Your true friends are a big part of your life , you really don’t realize until an event as this happens . I spoke to him at 4:20 on the phone , a daily call to check on him and plan a lunch , 5:40 he is gone .

Again thank you so much for all the thoughts and prayers .

It works both way.....My friends are going to lose me from a terminal illness in the near future...I can sense it on their faces....a sorrow...They try just go like nothing is wrong, I try to do the same...It's ok to feel this way...it's ok to have a few tears...Tell your friends now how you value them before it's too fucking late to say anything.....

Sorry to hear that... Everyone needs to cherish your old friends while there here.... Let them know you care about them....

  7. I feel ya my friend. I lost two in one week last summer. One a friend of 65 or so years, the other rode 4 hours one way to check on me about the first and bought it 20 minutes from home.

Everyone dies, we are born with an expiration date. My condolences to you and all effected by this loss.

Sorry for your loss. I grew up in the Hot Rod world, my parents were/are life long members of Mid-Michigan Street Rod Asso. so I grew up making friends with a bunch of guys that were my parents age. Many of them were mentors to me. Many of them from when I was a kid have passed on along with my pops. I had a great childhood listening to all the old hot rod stories from these guys and I miss every one of them.

  10. My deepest condolences. I, too, have lost a couple of friends this month, one just yesterday. Keep those memories alive by remembering them at their most vibrant.

My condolences. This past month has been very hard, It's almost daily that news of somebodies family or friends, or some musician or athelete or celebrity, etc has passed. Most without any word on the cause, they just up and died; others after losing a battle to cancer that came out of nowhere, or was resurrected after having beaten it years ago. I've had multiple firends fighting cancers, even a good buddy, Vietnam vet, dealing with breast cancer of all things. Sorry to say it guys, but I think we're in for a rough time ahead. I can't really say what I think is going on, it's restricted discussion around here. Just don't put off telling your friends and family that you love them.

Again I want to Thank each and everyone one of you , for being so caring .

You really don’t seem to understand how meaningful a friendship is until it’s gone . At least I did not reflect much on this , at the time . I had so many fun days , doing nothing but fixing his Hot Rod so he could enjoy a few more fun times .

Again thank all of you for so many thoughts and prayers .

I have been ask to take care of the sale of his 34 . I have been approached by 3 so called “friends “ that never spoke to him , now they want to own his 34 . They call me , never say I’m sorry , just how can I purchase the car ?

I do not want any of these “freaks “ for better works at this moment to ever have his car .

    It is a 100% Henry’s Steel , full fendered , chopped 34 ,
5 window coupe , 327 4 speed . I have been under the car , front to back numerous times , days on end . I can not locate one patch repair in the body , fenders or frame repair of any kind . I have nothing to gain from selling this car .

I would love to see someone on here that would appreciate what the car is get it .
