While driving my 49 chevy it will almost die when i shift into 3rd. It drives like normal through 1st and 2nd but as soon as the load is reduced, in 3rd the motor sounds like it is going to die. It has a 216 in it, any suggestions to what causes this?
To anyone who cares. The problem that was haunting me was easily fixed when I put on a new fuel pump, now she runs like new.
