I moved to NH from MN in '81. I was living in Exeter (seacoast). Going to Amherst once a month for swap meet, somewhere in Candia, NH there was a chopped '40 coupe body in some trees in a back yard. I remember it because chopped 40s aren't that common. No idea whose it was or where it went but a suggestion would be to contact Dick Mills in Lee, NH, who is a local pinstriper and has lived here all his life. He may well remember the car I am talking about. Just a thought.

Thanks, a great thought. That is the kind of thinking that could prove productive.
