Very sorry to hear this. Never met the man, didn’t know him personally, but always found his posts, regardless of the subject, interesting, informative and sometimes amusing. My condolences to his family and I’m sure, many many friends.

He was good to my brother and I. Years ago he gave us a private tour of his shops. The Spamorama was at his place I believe. Those were the days. :) Gods speed to a good man.

Looking up at night, if you see a star it may be a spark.
Actually I was happy to see him get to the south, and relax a while.

Prayers to his family. Years ago he built the crab distributor for my flathead. When it was done I asked about timing, He just laughed and said, you must be a chevy guy, just bolt it on and go. It still is working great.

Sad to see another loss. This seems to be getting all too common, losing our fellow HAMBers R.I.P.

Like many others posting on this thread I only knew him through posts on the HAMB and he seemed to be very knowledgeable and - more to the point - helpful. In other words, one of the good guys. I am saddened to hear about his passing - condolences to his family and friends.:(

Condolences to friends and family, Jim was a great guy. Helped me out quite a bit when I first got into flatheads, such a wealth of knowledge on all things ignition related! Unfortunately he still had one of my Mallory’s from a while back, but it’s my fault, shoulda bugged him about it..
