    The twin engine beast is scary, sorry to hear it led to a tragic salt flat ending. Notice the shot of the wheelstand with the Hemi Under Gl*** is on the return road and not the strip. Yikes!! ~sololobo~

    The Rice-Holman Mustang was driven by Al Joniec. I think that's how it's spelled.

    "Smoker" later became very influential as the booking agent for the East Coast Fuel Funny Car Circuit. He handled every A/FC and Blown Alcohol Funny (BB/FC was still a gasoline cl***) from Montreal to Miami.

    That's Tom "Smoker" Smith from Clinton Maryland that owned the SmokerRuda under the hood. I lived on Small Dr and went to school at Surrattsville High School with his sons Jimmy & Mike. Those were good memories.
