This Hotrod was running right into 70, 71 with some obvious upgrades...As mentioned it was a blessing more wasn't done in the modernization process as well. @Kid Rocker has every intention of this being methodically brought back to it's earlier routes. It's always best to read the whole Thread as you will pick up these details as they were discussed...see the post at link below... https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...e-capsule-three-window.1302273/#post-15004623 Even I was gonna ask about the rear Custom Bumper and went back and there it was...so it really helps to read from the beginning...and perhaps you did but missed it...As I said Kid deserves this BIGTIME. I remember this Thread coming up earlier last year and its really been an inspiring read.
Yep, it did have disc brake and a few other modern upgrades. It has 40 Ford brake back in place now and is slwoly being taken back to how it looked in 1957
NOT to hijack Kid rockers great thread here, but yes i did...im gonna start a NEW thread on mine shortly...

Looks like some nice old lead work ! My teacher in high auto body was old school he made us all learn how to do lead work ,he hated body filler.
Looking Damn Good DEAN!!!! Making my dry erase board list hemmorage with details!!!! I saw in a pic you had edelbrock V.C.s on..I have a set too as I wanted to rechrome ALL the dilapidated items that were chrome on mine.... As it was in 1956... Mine wasn't later modded as yours was but has a few things I am gonna live with..... joey
Dean! Congratulations on finding an incredible three window, the condition of the body is really remarkable. The Kennedy brothers are doing a great job helping with the coupe as well. Are you going to be using Ford mechanical linkage for the clutch or going hydraulic? I’m looking forward to seeing the car in time, it truly is a good one! Thanks for sharing everything about your survivor. ~ Conner
