I've just come home from delivering a eulogy, back east, and I thought of you, Mac and how you got a lot of time with your dad. It's good you guys didn't waste time and kept the relationship going strong. Not all families are that aware.

I can tell you, I've grown, a lot, after this weekend. I realize, more than ever, how important my wife and Bob Racecar are to me as well as the rest of my family.

I know ALL of your sentiments way too well, as you know. :(

So very sorry to hear of your FIL, and watching you go through this all again because it won't be easier. I'm here for you brother. If you need something or just an ear call me. If you guys need to get away come on down, plenty of room for y'all.

  3. Sorry for the loss of your Dad. I lost my Dad to cancer in 1974, he was only 51. I still miss him every day. I still run with his car club plaque from 1956. It's been on every one of my cars as a tribute to him.
