We all make an impression on someone else's life while we are here. Proof is in this thread.
    Be good to people.
Sorry for your loss, happy for your memories.

Sorry for your loss, but thanks for your story. Makes me want to do something with my friends before something happens.
    Take care.

Thanks guys! We made the funeral arrangements yesterday.. Was lucky enough that the family let me sit in with them..

I feel really honored that when he is cremated they allowed me to get a little capsule with a key chain on it that will contain some of his ashes.. So he will ride along with me now.

Also hoping to have everyone drive their old cars in the funeral..

So I need to get my truck back to driving..

So I was shooting primer at 11:30pm

And a screen capture from a video I took when him and I first got my flathead running in my truck

Sorry for the loss of your friend. Remember the time he gave you to know him, and be inspired to mentor some young guys as you get older.

It is cool to have your friends ashes with you. As I posted on page one I carry my friend Earl on Motor cycle rides/ hot rod shows and he has been my co pilot on several circle track races. Earls daughter smiles everytime she hears about Earls travels with me. I know your friends children will do the same.. Sorry for your loss he sounded like a top notch friend.. Bobby

Typical ohio fashion it rained today.. But I put it in high gear and thrashed mine together for its first trip away from the house

    Friday night..

They took his ashes to the cemetery in his 32..

About 20-30 old cars came out in the rain.

    And finally..

There will never be another one like him.. One of a kind.. I'd be lucky to live half the life he did after hearing more stories about him today from other people.

Having such a great guy for a role model is priceless. What you learned from him will be with you forever and when you become someones role model how he touched you will be passed on to others as time goes on.

    Thank you!

I will never forgot some great times with him..

He was a very quiet soft spoken guy.. Never even laughed very much..

Never forget at a usual Sunday morning breakfast someone made a quick joke about someone we knew who just walked in.. He laughed till he was crying with his hands over his face.. And couldn't hardly talk still laughing just said.. "I gotta get the hell outta here"
