Hell yes. This is why I love the hamb. I talk to you guys more than my "friends". ragtop most definitely gets the all American award for his effort. Less that 24 hours and the problem is solved...
Lol, thanks man. Yeah, we misfits need to stick together. It really wasn't a big deal since I'm up until 4am every night anyway, and my wife is a professional photographer, so there's always a Canon or a Nikon laying around somewhere.
Ragtop it helped! Guys like you and many others posting on this thread showed how teamwork in this hobby can pay off. Just a little thing like a missing key made a bunch of us smile when it all came out right in the end. Now let's all go out and get some spare keys and hide-a-key boxes.
Years ago an ole boy that I used to know got tired of loosing his car keys.Soooooooo,he got two sets made and hung one set on his dog tag chain. Was never without a set again. He was a Korean vet.Retired Marine. Good luck.Have fun.Be safe. Leo
Seriously, have you called any locksmith about keys? When the cars were new they would use them on service calls... But after the cars are twenty some years old they didn't seem to have an issue with loaning then out with a deposit... Sur is worth a try...
