Somebody posted this week that Bo Hopkins, Candy Clark, & Milner (Paul LeMatte) will be at the the drive-in movie theater this Saturday night in Georgetown, IN which is just west of Louisville, KY. They are also going to be in Louisville all weekend for this too: www.fandomfest.com

The t-bucket looks like the red one that Milner was parked next to when the Studebaker full of girls drove by,and along came Carol. "Later"...."Alligator".

Great photos. thanks for hooking us up with the link..............Gotta love the one of Candy Clark on the tire. She was signing autographs and selling pics and copies of the movie last weekend at the car show.

Holy*****!! Forty years, damn..Saw it at the East Hartford Cinema City when it first came out, place was sold out for days and you had to get tickets in advance..Parking was like zip, stuffed the car between two snow piles and had to crawl out the window and over the snow piles, my date wasn't too thrilled about it, "But you have to leave the windows open, what if it snows?"..On the way home I thought the movie would be great at a Drive In as the whole place would be filled with Hot Rods..Somewhere around 1987 I helped some guys put on cruise nites..They booked the E.M. Lewis drive in accross the highway from McD's on the turnpike..Had AG and AGII for movies..888 car slots full plus anywhere else a car could be stuffed, I don't remember a cut off date but there wasn't anything there that I can remember that wasn't a Hot Rod of some type..The highway was packed for miles in both directions..Seems like last Saturday nite.....

Thanks for posting..I don't think that American Graffiti or Lucas has ever really gotten due credit for kick starting a whole bunch of young actors careers, by either the movie industry or the actors themselves or maybe I missed it...And as stated those stills due make chills..

Ha ha, its when the Studebaker full of girls drives by just before Carol joins Milner, it's only shown cranking up briefly. Its driven by a kind of goofy looking guy.

Has anyone figured out how you can buy these photographs from that photography sight, (I'm guessing they are for sale as there is a cart*****on) how much do they cost? I really want the one of Mel's with the cars parked.

There was a gold T in a scene at Mel's towards the end of the movie. Although the one shown in the link with Ron Howard appears darker in color.

    Anyway, great link, thanks.

The Gold T is the one Howard is sitting in (white headers, bulb horn, side view mirror, wipers).

The red T is the one when Milner gives chase to the Stude.
