  2. What a wonderful event, super cool cars, motors, people!! The film clips are neat-o. Those cars are so awesome I had the goose bumps just checkin em out. That motor in the dove gray roadrace car with the big ass finned head and side drafts is spectacular. I love the 4's, my memories of the sound of the offy's , in what was billed as "The Big Car Races" at the Ne. state fair every year as a kid are my all time favorite racing times. Bobby Grim wheeling the Bardhol Special was my favorite, ironically an old buddy gave me two water slide decals of that car touting its 1956 Championship, sure looks good on my 1956 Suburban!! Nice job sharing this event with the rest of us> ~Sololobo~

The T coupe was builty by Joe Mac years ago. It is Cragar powered with a pair of Winfield carbs. Now owned by Nick Radoumis.

I have a question for the "regulars" at this event, does it always occur on the 3rd sunday of Sept or ? Always in the same location?

I only realized the night before from another post on the here that it was Sunday. Next year I'd like to plan for it and bring my dad and our Model A out. (He had a hopped up 4 banger in his Model A in the early 50's)

Here's my post with some video coverage.

Where might someone find an old article or book on how these bodies were built?

  13. Would someone teach an Old Fart about this 8 cylinder engine?
