Oh, and did someone already mention that the expansion of the South Wing should be ready by August 1st? Which means 129,600 sq.ft. for more inside vendors.

You still have my number? Don't try to sneak in without a call! Have a safe trip and see ya in a week.
Things may be a lot different this year. Rumor has it that the fairgrounds officials are not allowing the big tents anywhere except the grassy area's, none on the pavement. Have seen nothing official on this though.

So where is everyone staying? Cruising the parking lots at night has become almost more fun than roasting all day at the show! I'm so pumped about it, less than one week!

If you see any of these three being driven (or co-pioted) by a blonde, that'll be me. Be sure to say hi. It is amazing how many times I've gone to an event, meet no new HAMBers and later heard about all of the shy HAMBers that were there.

I'll be there with a 20X30 booth in the new addition. 3 chassis and our new HR&HP convertible. Thankfully staying across the street, no driving

  19. Been so busy gettin' ready that I haven't been on the board for a week!

Like Billy said, it was time to do a lot of work on the beater (that's what 300,000 miles will do) and have about 30 new pieces of aluminum to sell. We'll probably be in town Sunday and we leave on Sunday at about 5PM. Stop by and use your Alliance discount or just say Hi! We're in the same spot we've been since forever except they moved the southeast corner of the building a couple of hundred feet to the south so we're something like at the mid point of the west wall. Can't miss us - just look for the O'Brien green booth.

And I'll do my best to be at the HAMB meet and greets at noon Friday and Saturday (need my cookie fix after all.)

And Boones - that flood everyone talks about was something like 18 years ago and they expanded the building over that area before we went back to Luigiville the next time. Personnaly I can't wait to get away from this hot humid New England weather. It's not unusual for it to be no hotter in KY that back east here. So get your but out there;)

    Happy (and safe) Truckin'

    Dennis

PS I'm anxious to see my grandaughter too:D:D

I know I will be there thursday and saturday,I dont know about friday I might go to eldora and watch the outlaws race.Does anyone know if its true they will not let anyone on the grounds to walk around and pinstripe?I was told the only pinstriper was the guy that was there last year and anyone else was tossed out.I want to go and pinstripe but if this is true I will have to try and hit people out cruising around town or go to there hotel and do it.So what do you guys say 100 bucks for the front and back, any takers?

Hopefully Frizby doesn't flake out on me like he has for EVERY other show this year. He is supposed to drive the spacetruck down and I will be in the lander.

Then I guess you really didn't win it now did ya??  ;) :D

Lots of people every year have their numbers pulled but either they aren't at the drawing or don't have their car on the grounds OR their car is registered in someone elses name (like a family member). Remember, not only does it have to be on the grounds BUT the car also has to be legally registered in YOUR name.

HAMB members have won it the last two years in a row, they are both friends. Hopefully "WE" can make it a threesome and another HAMB member can take home another giveaway vehicle.

On one of the message boards I frequent(dont remember which one), someone said they heard a rumor that NSRA was only letting the big tents go up on grassy areas and not on the parking lot. My dad called NSRA today and they said it was completely FALSE. Im not trying to derail this thread, I just wanted to let you guys know that if you are putting a big tent up, you can put it whereever you want.
