LOVELY NAILHEAD - separating trans help please

    Any ideas what I'm missing? I have only managed to part the Dynaflow about 3/4 inch from the engine after about 2 hours last night and then a few hours this morning?

    Did you take the inspection plate off the bottom of the bellhousing and remove the torque converter to flexplate bolts? Did you remove the starter?

    Did all that except the 3 flex plate bolts! Bingo!

    Check clearances on that flex-plate if you plan on using it again. When out of shape, it can ruin the Dynaflow.
