    Good Day to you all,

I'm a 29 yrs old dude from Ontario Canada and have been into cars my whole life. My biggest burden to bear (and its no burden at all!) is that I love almost every genre of the modified cars thang. However I usually get "stuck in" to very specific things from time to time.

The major hangers on are semi-period correct Bellflower style 60's customs, mild or wild 49-54 Chevys (I know, I know), prety much any ratty very used pick-up truck rodded or not and stupid low watercooled VWs.

Not all of that is in line with the HAMB and please understand, its off the top of my head. I read all mags from Lowrider to Mini Truckin to CarCraft to PVW to HotRod. I am in front of a computer a lot for my job so I tend to spend lunch hours on every forum under the sun. Probably my major theme for vehicles is simple but effective mods...the overall profile rather than the highlights kinda thing. When it comes to fast stuff I go for the barefisted back alley theme every time.

I come from a mechanical bluecollar background and always work on my own stuff, from my lawnmower to my house to my DDs. Thats about all there is folks. Just wanted to intoduce myself, first time Ive ever done it on a forum before. Everybody here seems really genune and helpful!

My shop needs a roof and electrical and Ive got a baby on the way...so a real project may come along in a few years...but for now I'll be mostly reading and searching and researching for the random ideas that strike me in the middle of the night or trying to find a cool way to build that 4 door wreck I see on the way to work every day.

Thanks so much if you read the whole speil!

Thanks to all for a great board!

Welcome Ignition. It took me almost 20 years to put together my current ride because family and the house came first. Keep on keeping on. You will get it done at some point.
