I never liked the low deck lid on the 27 roadster but I purchased a 27 body anyway for $700.00 at the Charlotte swap meet. A little wedge cut off bottom the body. Radiator in the rear. 2 fans, runs cool. An ultra rare S B C LOW 3 carb marine intake got the front down. 153 tooth flywheel and a sectioned oil pan. Now I really like the look of my 27. I like the car. Particularly how when you are in the car your shoulder is just down into the body. Reminds me of the early Zipper bodies. I hope to get that low in my roadster, but don't have an exact plan just yet. But as always, your workmanship is superb.
