Low Buck Bench Seat Build up TECH for cheap poor bastards....
Here are some step by step pictures on the easiest bench seat ever built.

    1. I started with some 2x4's and a sheet of plywood. cut out the frame and bench seat pattern. nailed it together and mocked it up

You're a very clever bastard. Just imagine if you hadn't had your little fling at being a fisherman you wouldn't know about those cushions.
    Looks cool, is it comfy?

could you just cut down the whole cooler to sit on?

You guys ought to make a trip over here. I've got a big ol' lake full of fish right on my back porch. If you're nice, I might even let you stare at my model A parts.... [IMG]

I've got a boat ramp on my property, brah! I've got my boat pulled up to about 20 feet from the back door. Seriously, if you guys are ever in the area you're welcome to come on over.

I've had to sell a lot of projects and parts to be in a position to buy this house, so I'm damn sure going to enjoy it.
