Hot Rods low cost hotrod help

Ive never done this before,

I have 38 ford frame, and a 283 SBC engine with a Hurst bracket that goes across the front to adapt it to the ford mount locations. I also have a NWC T-5 borg warner tranny out of a S-10. Id like advise as to what I need to make a it into a hot rod chassis. Bell housing, rear mount, rear end etc. What modifications would I need to do to the frame? Also will a 32 ford fiberglass body fit on a 38 frame?

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Too much work dump the frame and get some 32 rails and go from there .
