You might look at a Gates 20475 or 20544 and see if they look like they will work. I don't know about the diameter but they are for a Chevy.

@lumpy 63 , sorry I looked at your stuff and didn't get the lightbulb.
Hope your search is fruitful. That's one of those things most people have NO IDEA how many different choices there are.
Since everyone is offering other tips in the same realm, I will say that if you find 2 or more hoses that have the section you need, get the one with extra cutoffs (within budget reason). You can always find a use for the 'scrap'.

  4. I did this on my '41. Found a hose with the bends I needed, found them on closeout at RockAuto for $5 each ($85 hose everywhere) bought 3. The one hose I used on the '41 had remnants and those already went to use on another car.

It’s a valid suggestion. I considered this product when looking for a lower hose, couldn’t bring myself to do it. I guess you could paint the hose flat black but there’s no way to make those connections look traditional. In my mind nothing wrong with flexible rubber hose.

I went to Oriellys this morning and it seems the days of a fully stocked store are long gone, the wall was half empty. I bought one that was long with some 90 degree bends and cut it. It will have one short aluminum tube splice in the middle which I will tig weld some ridges on the ends.

@lumpy 63 that reminds me a lot of the Tri Five V8 hose when rad is on the front side of the core support. Danchuk “use” to list them.

If I can remember...........when I go to car shows, I think I will look at the hoses people used on their cars and see if someone has what I need. Take a pic of it and ask them where they got it. Seems like there ought to be a lot of different hose shapes there for the viewing..........:) I spend too much time looking at motors when I'm there.
