    Hey Guys,

I must be getting old.......I bought a '96 Roadmaster wagon last year so I
could work on my Merc and drive something with wipers, heater, defroster
and A/C. So what do I do, I lower my daily driver a conservative two
inches to make it look better. Well this winter, last month, we've had 18
inches of snow and now 6 inches of sleet. My wifes Magnum is stuck (again)
in the driveway. My wagon is not stuck, it is just too frik'n low to make it over the sleet ruts. If I hadn't lowered it I would be able to get out
of the house. Lowered cars ****!! I thought it was just old cars that ****ed. Now I believe Ron Myers When he told me that all cars ****.

Don't ask about the Merc, I hadn't got anything accomplised yet.

Hey, if it hadn't snow'd I wouldn't be goin on this rant..... I'm sorry,

    Lowered cars don't ****,

    SNOW ****S!!!

I don't know how you guys up north deal with all of this ****.

    I'm tired of the snow!!!!!!!

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

We have four wheel drive trucks to use in the winter months. And airbags too.

Actually, for Wisconsin, we've had a terriffic winter so far, today was the first real snowfall we've had.

Snow is good....it makes it hard to do anything else but go out in the garage and work.

If it was nice here all the time all I would do is go out running around spending money.

Hey Mick, there's always airbags! Or you could go the other way (see attachment)

Yeah, below freezing highs and ice storms in the winter, 105 degrees and drought in the summer, 80% humidity all the time, Don't ya love Oklahoma?

Just follow the newest fad. G***erize that bad boy! I have been chastized until I believe ANY car can be a g***er.

    Humor purposes only.

    LMAO.I know how you feel.

I used to drive a 72 GMC swb PU that was ina dirt so far I had to have help to get a jack under the front. I only got stuck once but the damn thing would shovel snow with the front crossmember till it would try to drown the air filter and dist. Removed the wheel wells and then it couuld only pile up to the ex manifoldsbefore fallin' out the sides. No more problems:D .LOL

I had a 69 Impala rag top that kept sweepin the square ended turbo muffs off all the time. Finally whacked off the turbos and put on some gl***packs with nice radiused ends and solved that prob.:D

You gotta drive 'em like you just don't care in ****ty weather.

It's just gods way of tellin' ya to get busy on the Merc.;)

    Low riders are the ****.

Yeah, and that ****S too... I've got 5 licensed cars in my driveway and won't drive 3 of them because of the salt. I'm building my Kansas '64 Ford as a year around driver. With Por 15 and an oil spray underneath and my washing it whenever the temp gets above 32, I think that I can make it hold up. If not, there are patch panels, welding and bondo.

I live in Washington state, and in the winter months I drive my 1960 Ford factory 4 wheel drive. Still old, cool, has a heater, can haul anything, and never gets stuck. Anywere. Factory height on 750.16 military tires. But then theres stopping on icey hills......:)
This is'nt it, this is a 59, but mine looks just like it. Probably not for everyone, but I like it!

I know 2 inches is not that low. I drive one of the lowest Mercs in the
country. (Without bags) I know what low is. This is why I thought I could get away
with a two inch drop on my daily driver. The past couple of years we've
been fortunate to have some mild winters. I was able to drive the Merc to work everyday.

Ahhhhh Good times. Not this winter.

I may get a chance to drive one Wednesday.........

Its actually been pretty cold here in California this past week (compared to normal). I know not cold compared to other places but cold enough to cause some trouble. On the news they been talking about how billions of dollars worth of Oranges have been ruined from the low temperatures during the night. Its been in the Low - Mid 20s during the night and Highs in the high 30s and low 40s in the day.. They been setting up places for the homeless to get out of the cold and what not. In some places this might not be considerd cold but to us Californians its pretty damn freezing... I guess we are lucky we havent seen snow which we do see once in a great while..When I was a teen we got 6 inches one time. We were all outside playin in the snow like idiots at 2 am...Thats the last time I seen snow here. Thats been like 7 or 8 yrs ago..

Mick, you've got to go talk Chris Meyer out of his '50 (or so) Jeep wagon. It's old, it's cool, it's tall, it's 4X4. And it's right there in Copan.

    Hey duncan,

I've seen the vehicle.....My brother used to live behind them. huummmm???
Another project. I better not do that. It is easier and I would rather complain
    about the weather.

I love that truck! I just sold one this year (a '59) and I feel like punching myself in the balls every time I see one. I don't know what the **** I was thinking.
