Thanksgiving423_zps342c3673.jpg Thanksgiving420_zpsd79f7d7b.jpg This just looks so right the way it sits, running board to the ground is 9 1/2 inches. I'll get some right side photos next week.. There is no rear spring in it, wonder if a T spring and a Z'd rear could get this same effect. What have you got for ground to bottom of the board moulding dimentions? Bob

this is 2-1/2" axle drop, reversed eye front spring (not Posies), and Tardel reversed eye main rear leaf, 5.90x15 and 8.20x15 tires. Could be lower, but springs are not broken in yet. motor is A banger. No measurement taken. Note, running board brackets can often be bent upward if car has had many hard miles. Mine were over an inch too high on outside fronts, but are pretty close to good now.

Nice looking car Russ, Bill Harrah had one like that when he was a kid, they built a replica of it back in the 1970's. Bob

A bunch I like, but maybe too low for what you are looking to do... 10415236074_76a12dc213_o.jpg

The neatest damned RPU that shows at L.A.R.S. every year, and I have never been able to figure out who owns it! Has an absolutely wicked sounding flatty, too! Oh, and I am 100% sure that Larry Braga above has something to do with it's build. IMG_2307-vi.jpg

Danny Zank's '29 from the early ninties, built by Larry Braga... Seeing a theme yet? Woddy%20blue.jpg

Kirk Duquette's little woodie from the late nineties.

I've never measured the dimension you are asking for, but it sits as low as it can with 16" wheels and still be drivable.

  9. This is kinda what I'm going for, but with wire wheels.

Poor picture but I just lowered mine. Going to pull one more leaf and a 4" dropped axle up front

These A's look good. The 16" KH or Dayton are getting very popular and look good.

  14. I'm glad you started it too Bob.
The Roadster posted by HRP sure got my attention, then the stake bed posted by Hidez57 gave me warm tingly feelings. :D
    More please...;)

Great stuff! I've always been a fan of full-fendered '28-'29 soup jobs. I remember reading an article about the shiny black super-low delivery with red wires that Brigat posted. And, the sedan with steelies and no hood two posts back is about where I'd be, since I figure something like that could driven a lot; me being a fan of beaters that get mileage. I wish I had something to add but only have a roadster cowl and frame at the moment. Inspiration helps, and these rides certainly inspire! Great cars all.

Might not drive very good, but damn it would be nice to look at in my garage.
