KK5263 what a cool little sleeper really like it. I have daily driven 2 302 V8 swapped rangers . the first 1 I drove close to a 100,000 miles .the 2nd was just a temporary transportation & a donor vehicle engine is in my 40 Ford 2 door

Yeah the 4.3 would be a must. Thanks for the tips.

My 2.2 5 speed S10 practically makes gas, I have been able to get 34 mpg on a trip. but you will never win a race with it although I have gotten more speeding tickets in it than any other vehicle I have ever owned s1011.jpg s1022.JPG

Gotta 91 S-10 with the 4.3. NOT great on gas but....odometer just rolled over to 250,000 and engine has never been opened ! Starters & water pumps is all.
News flash.......bring your 'big-boy wallet' when shopping for one of these older 'mickey mouse ears' mini trucks. They have started back UP in value as the S-10s get larger.
Mine has the hockey look'in rubber air dam on the front underneath the front bumper. "They say" its good for a couple MPG on fuel but....if I ever lower mine I think I will take it off.
Any first hand knowledge about the lil air dam/spoiler ?!
    thankee....

It also aids in directing air into the grille for cooling.

Had to go pick up my son’s pickup today after the transmission blew up on the way to the StrayKat 500 over a week ago. Thankfully, Mick let me keep it at his shop for a few days… Also bought another truck while up there for the transmission…

A previous daily driver…’92, 4.3/5-speed. After lowering and fixing damn near everything else on it, it was starting to smoke enough to be embarrassing so I sent it down the road. Really fun little truck.
