Lowering a dodge truck

I have been looking for a vintage truck (from around 46 to 55).
Recently a few Dodge C series trucks have come up in for sale. They seem to be complete with little to no rot.

There is not much information on the internet about them. Do they use an I beam axle with leaf springs up front?

What are my options for lowering one without changing the front clip? Is my only choice to remove leafs? I have not been able to find a picture of a stock front suspension.

I am not looking to do anything drastic. Maybe just a couple of inches in the front
