What is it that you are wanting to accomplish? Lowering blocks will lower the back of your car, installing air shocks and filling them will raise it.

3" blocks would probably be just fine. Watch your driveshaft clearance.

    Common...he's a new guy..!

But yea, as noted...lowering blocks will lower...air shocks will raise the car.

Which way do you want the car to go...up or down ?

  7. Really depends what you want. I put 4" lowering blocks AND air shocks in mine.

  8. I'm gonna put both on mine. Lowering blocks so it will be down where I want it, and air shocks to raise it when I go in driveways and over speed bumps.

  9. I got both in mine. You do realize air shocks are not like bags and won't really lower the car just raise it up right?

Awe thanks guy's, I am just shy of a smooth brain window licker, but I'm pretty sure I'm looking to lower it. I figure the blocks to lower and the shocks to adjust? Just don't want to go over kill.

Just do the blocks. I wouldn't put air shocks on a pull wagon.

Start with the blocks. If you find you need it a bit higher for bumps etc, then put some ar shocks on it. HAVE FUN!

  16. Air shocks aren't meant to carry the weight of a car, the springs are. I have seen many shock mounts blow out after time using air shocks. Maybe bags would be better as they fit where the springs did and thats where you want to carry the load. Alot more reinforcement is at the spring locations.

concrete blocks in the trunk will lower it and you can adjust by adding or removing blocks, no mechanical skills needed
