Hey... I am brand spankin new to this forum... I have a 1942 chevy sedan that I want to drop down in the weeds but I don't want to use a late model IFS. I would like to use the stock suspention. I have read quite a few threads on this subject but none of them go into to much detail. I would like to keep the stock 6 lug bolt pattern so I can run the stock wheels. I wasn't sure if this was possible because I want to get rid of the inclosed driveline and I haven't heard of a 6 lug open drive line rear end that would fit under my car. I am not opposed to running drum brakes on the car if they don't make a 6 lug rotor. Im not even sure if the stock wheels are compatible with disc brakes... I have many questions... I know the make drop springs and spindles for the oem IFS but that's about all I know...

Sorry... Leave it to the FNG to screw it up. Haha. This is why I love old cars. Me and modern technology just don't get along. I am sure I will get the hang of it. Thanx for the help...
