Besides having 15 inch wheels/tires and a Posies reverse-eye front spring, my 46 Ford Coupe is stock. I would like to lower the rear as well and since there is a panbar on the rear, should I be ok using a set of lowering shackles? There is a set available that are made by Verne Tardell that I can buy. I've thought about putting a Posies spring on the rear but was looking for a less expensive method. What do you think?

I put in 4 inch shackles in my 48 sedan a few years back. Worked fine. guess I'll do it again in my 41 coupe.
I see this is an older post, what did you do in the end?
