i need the help of some wise learned men. ive got a 1953 cadillac and need it lower... ive already done the blocks on the rear and taken out a few springs to get it down to the stops and the front has had a coil or two cut from it in the past. are there any old tricks to get this lower? I was looking at the king and linkpin assembly and it looks like there might be a chance to flip the part that goes between the "A" arms. if that works, it might give me a few inches. i plan on nothching the rear and possibly Z'ing the front but im looking for something to get me there on a shoestring budget until i get ahold of some money. any help is appreciated. thank you.
Jamco makes dropped springs and De-arched rear leafs. I did a 3" front and 3" rear drop http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=365887&d=1192534403 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=365888&d=1192534403
