Technical LOWEST LEFT (DR) 8BA GEN MOUNT

    Which dr side generator mount is lowest ? i have a 27 ford and the entire genny is above the grill shell ,car is very low , not concerned about the draft tube as i will be going another route there , earlier style super type dual with internal pcv ,, looked at a pics of a head mounted and it was to the left but not really any lower ,,, or am i just gonna have to make somthing ... pics appreciated if ya have any ,,

    You may be living up to your name and fabricating what you need. With every mount like that I have seen, low wasn't a consideration.
    Thing is it would be be nice to have something as a basic pattern to design from.
    Looking at mine, that has the results of cobbling it into a Jeep station wagon back when, it looks like you may have to build a bracket that sets it so the belt actually goes around the water pump behind the water pump pulley and you run an idler on the generator mount bracket to adjust the belt while keeping it low. No bigger pain in the **** belt wise than stock as you still have to remove the front belt to swap the back belt.

    now re thinking ,looking into doing a reverse rotation pump on that side and seeing if theres enough meat on a narrow pulley to flatten out the groove for a wide belt back side , then its on like donkey kong and ill make the bracket and mount it low on the head about where the lower part of that oil filter is hangin above ...without idlers or anything ,,,,, anymore bright ideas chime in please
