That's just it, you don't understand. The lowrider's style(s) of the 60's haven't changed, lowriders just don't care what year of car, truck or van they apply them too! Don't forget, the lowrider is the owner, the car is the lowrider's car and for all other definitions, it's art style includes any or all mild customs.
Also, lowriders are what got alot of us into the car "hobby". Growing up in east Dallas, that was all I was surrounded by. It also explains my different kind of taste when it comes to cars. When I bought my Newport, EVERYONE gave me grief. I wasn't 100% sure what to do with it. But it didn't take long to remember my roots. It will be built in a 60's style with a heavy lowrider influence (sold the supremes and bought a set of era correct wires). There is nothing wrong with a tastefully done lowrider-at all!
