look at the majority of cars used for hot rods, what you see is primarily Ford. the Chevy Impala is the 32 ford of the lowrider community. its not that Buick, Oldsmobile, etc were not used, its just those makes were used a lot less.

Those are LOWRIDERS So many of today's Lowriders sit HIGHER than stock and call themselves Lowriders. I don't get it
amen, I tease my brother and his friends endlessly about it. he tells me these days most of the cars have fully detailed and painted frames that they don't want to scratch.
I remember watching that Mural getting painted at Sun Valley Park when I used to go swimming at the park during the summer.... brings back good memories
Going to jump the gun here and post these pictures, before I go back to the beginning and finnish reading this thread. My Dad bought this car new and it is now in my care. I put three inch blocks in it just over a week ago. It is far from done, but it is a blast to drive. Dad even likes the changes. I hope it turns some cranks here. Doug.
