I neve liked those pink, bright purple, tangerine or yellow interiors. Looked like the inside of a gay casket. I'm down with the style it was just the colors.

The slammed Sidekick reminds me of when I lived in South Minneapolis.

I love this thread, especially the links to the old pictures. How come it's all 61-64 Chevy Impalas these days? You look back and there are cool Rivieras and Gran Prixs. Seems like with Hot Rods it's mostly Ford, and with Lowriders it's mostly Chevy.

This is probly my favorite thread on the HAMB Lowrider didnt really grab me till jr high and the have never let go. I was stoked to see the you tube video of a colorbar in action I have never seen one actually working! do they flash to the music or independant? are they like an amplifier? do they have the reverb built in ?

  17. Super Bad Groucho. Thanks.
Pony/ muscle lows, mild '56 posts, Chandelier Impalas. Imperials Car Club- too gone.
Love the '58 fender tops & quads on the '54 chev post in the link- looks natural.
Lows never happened down under back in the day, due to various reasons.

Lately ive gone through the link that Groucho posted on the 1st pages and found some intresting stuff. Its long as hell to check out as its about a 100 pages w/ 30 or more pics each but worth doin!
    http://public.fotki.com/BigPoppa/kriss_stuff/car_stuff/lrm_covers/lowrider_pasados/page8.html

This here is some random stuff from there.

    Then a question?????
What are the wheels on the black bug?
they look like 4 spoke Astros but i thought they never made'em.
4 spoke Rockets? Does anybody know
Anyone has 4 available or know where i can find them!
I'd love'em on my mid size euro ford!
If i cant get an answer here i'll start another "wheel identifying" thread!:D

Those 4-spokes above sure look like Rockets. Keep your eye on Ebay bonez... sets pop up and seem to sell for cheap because of the limited applications.

    Can i really?
I tought they were discontinued ages ago!
Anyway, they're not exactley the same, these have slimmer spokes
for a cleaner look, as much as i love cragars they are nice from 15" up. :D
I would still consider them if i could find a good deal tho.
Another wheel im considerin is the cragar true spoke, i've seen em on the
ads here a while ago w/ 4 lug pattern. Theyre wicked, just like the OG true-spokes.
But will take a while b4 i find anything available at a decent price im sure.

Edit: ive added a smiley after the 15" sentence, it was sarcastic but sounded like i meant it!
