What a great run! Thanks again, Dave, and everyone who made it. I meant to post some pictures earlier, but everyone beat me to the punch, and mine look just like all the others that've been posted. Here're a few anyway...

Kevin, Glad to hear you made some good use of that roller we sold you so many years ago. I still kick myself for selling that chassis but I'm glad it found another life! I'm not one to hold on to stuff that could be put to good use and it sounds like you did good.
By the way, Pops still wants his wheels back!! LOL!!

I still have them Mike, It's great to hear from you. I've thought about you and Rene often. If you still live near "Pops" let him know that those 80's wheels are safe and will be delivered to him when his son Mike comes down in Oct.
I've been anxious to show you and Rene how "The Roller" turned out.

I was to go this Nor Cal RR. with it, but I have a noise somewhere in the bellhouisng area of the 283/350 combo and thought that it might not be a good idea to make the drive to Rohnert Park near Mike G. and really break something=Lol!

Thank you again for being kind enough to pass this chassis on to me, I used it as Mike G. took it apart right down to even what was left of the wiring. I really wanted to keep as much of the past cars personality as I could.

It took us awhile to get it back on the road by using mostly stuff that my friends Oz,Glen John B. and I had around, it was great to get it going, My 20yr old nephew drives it often and he now is building his own traditional 29 A V8 RPU.
Since he lives up north, hopefully he'll get it done for the next NCRR. ;).
