Lug nut question

    1949 Ford F-1 what size are th elug nut studs? 1/2" 7/16" I have no idea and I am at work so I can't go look. Thanks

  3. yes , the lug nuts are 1/2" fine thread. if you are using stock steel wheels you want lug nuts with a 13/16" hex , not the 3/4" hex the guy at the auto parts store will hand you. even though that is not a big difference in size , in my experience the smaller ones just don't tighten up the wheel as well

    ford is 1/2, chevy are 7/16 i beleive

    yeah, you don't want Mopar lug nuts on your Ford!
