Lunar Lander arrives at Fort Worth TX with "Doc" at the wheel

Doc is a true pal. He came over and chewed the fat about the coupe with me and Donna, then gave me the 50cent tour of his sedan....whatta ride! We took him to lunch and had a great talk about his lifes' trials and tribulations. He is truly a self-made man.

 

Hey Doc, those are some truly bitchin' cars. It's good to know that if the Lander had to leave Piatt County, it went to a good home. My boy Jesse hated to see it leave. He really loves that car.

You need to get Larry's deuce, you'll always regret it if you don't. You know you could always sell it to me later after I've made my fortune.

 

That has to be the one of the best hotrod/custom cars built in the last 45 years and the blue and white color is perfect for it.

Looks like a great time, and great pics. Doc and 3W, you have some great looking cars. I love the steering wheel in the sedan.

 

They will probably be calling you back because I've submitted the one of you in the Lander to Playgirl for centerfold material. They're doing a special, Hot Dudes with their Hot Rods.

 

I don't know about the rest of you, but I've been to the ER more then I'd like to talk about and it's good to see an ER doctor relaxing as Doc does. I just hope all the ER personell I see from here on out as as cool as our Doc. I've only met him one and hope to see him again.

I didn't see Boyd just Bo Huff. Anyway, as the owner of a 57 Chevy and a crew cab pickup, I was drawn to this "hybrid vehicle". Like it or not it was well built.

Now everytime I see one of these black trucks coming at me I look for the rockets .
