I haven't really been doing too much to the lunar lander lately, but I had to move it out of the garage to get to my attic hatch to throw a bunch of junk upstairs that some asshole left in this El Camino I bought. I started to put the floor in it but I thought I ought to check and make sure the body is the way I want it before I weld it all together. So I took some pics while it was outside.
that looking pretty cool man. good job. are you going to paint this one pink to go with the baby blue?
That thing is even more gay than the Spacetruck. Slap some rainbow stickers on it and we'll enter it in the pride parade! You got the Elky! Oh now you really do suck. Does that mean you sold the hog?
Denise, they aren't really updated, this is about how it looked when I came to Detroit, I just moved it outside. Ha Ha Ha by the way have you found any of my pants? I am missing a couple pairs! Chad, the wishbones are on the side of the frame there that is why the floor is cut in a bit. There is a lot of unused space there but it curves in towards the wheels so that is the best I could do. The bike is "kinda sold" long story, I scraped up the cabbage on my own for the El Camino. As for paint, how about "fuschia"? Ha Ha Ha
plowboy maybe its just me.. but i think i'd like to see a bit more forward rake in the body.. not much.. either way I know it'll be badass... sawzall jeff
Jeff, I wanted it to be fairly level with the mock-up tires. The Whitewall slicks will be a couple inches taller than what is on there and the fronts will be an inch or so shorter (I think).
It's looking good Ployboy How about a light pink metallic? like this http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Factory/6734/x49.jpg
The lander has some serious style! Reminds me of some kind of fast flying insect. Wings tucked in back waiting to take off at a moments notice. What is the back originally from?
Aaron, it looks good. Maybe someday ill get up your way and see it, or you could come down here and see my car. When you decide to sell that ugly old el camino, let me be the first to know. Nick
I like the way the fin shapes extend right up to the windshield. Really makes the design coordinated. Looks great!
Wow, That looks good --!!!!and man I would kill for a flat driveway. I can only stand about max 9' away on level ground. I live on top of a hundred foot hill. I dropped a nut and washer the other day and I was standing only two feet out of my garage and I had to make a choice that very second - which one do I run after ( the nut! they cost more). Early I know but what color? Orange metal flake and gray bs
Looking good Aaron! It would look good painted a yellow-jacket wasp yellow. Sinister looking.BTW they have your boots in Nashville Sparkxx
Orange lunar lander and blue space truck are complementary color on the color. Its the art professor in me sorry bs
Actually CAS has already given me a jar of dark blue metalflake. I am probably going to 2 tone it with pearl white on the bottom and the flake on top.
. . . .maybe I should start listening to Cinderella and Ratt when I design my next project? seriously man. . . really great work
Haven't really looked for any. Perhaps one of the other boys were sniffn' them and then decided to abscond with them cuz they smelled go good?? I'll look in all the nooks and crannies this week and let you know if I come across ones that don't look fimiliar.
UHHH! I usually don't respond to most posts.....but, I feel like I have just been bitch-slapped so I thought I would say that thing looks killer phil
