I have these Lyons and a set of Hollywood Flippers and trim rings that I keep swapping between. I can't decide which I like better...

These are mine, I assumed they were Caddy caps, but now I think they might be Lyon caps..

 

Picked up this set I think are Lyons caps the other day..

 

Neil, those are '51 - '52 Cad, and not the best looking Cadillac wheel cover ever made ... they may have been made by Lyon - check for "Lyon" trademark or maker's mark stamped in the outer band where the teeth are formed.

 

Them are '52 Buick caps. Nice looking, but not aftermarket.

 

Those caps are 1952 Buick but they may have been manufactured by Lyon. The Lyon company made caps for lots of oem applications for many automobiles. Check on the edges by the mounting clips, some are marked Lyon.

I just picked up these two 16" lyon hubcaps. Anybody know someone that can restore them?

 

Not really, you might be able to double your money, but there's too much dish in them to fit most wheels.

56 Plymouth... I have a set

 

Picked up a full set of 4 of these recently. Stamped Lyon in cursive on the rim. Plymouth ship slightly different from factory caps.

 

Just finished my very mild custom '51 Fleetline with Lyons.

 

You are thinking about "Lion", not "Lyon".

 

Maybe very mild kustom but its a whole lot of kool... Lyons look too kool.

 

I checked the back of my kaiser hub caps and there was a Lyons stamp on the inside

I know, I know. It's an older thread that I am resurrecting by posting, but just got this one of these off a popular online auction site. Its the one on the bottom right side.

 

I have a nice pair of 16" Lyons Wheelcovers that my Fathers friend John Edens of Chehalis WA gave me 20 years ago.
