Thanks for the pics. Is that an extra middle section painted black or is that chrome? The ones I have don't have that in the middle. I don't know if that is missing or I have a different model.

Wow, that affect really makes for a WIDE White wall. Be curious to see one with all the wheels like that.

It reminds me of yrs ago. Remember on 40's Mopars I think. Didn't like them then
    and still don't. Different though:rolleyes:

I love the look of them. I have a set of 'Calnevar Whitesides' - that's what the label calls them - that are held on by the '40 Ford cap, and also a set that are chromed (poorly) that go nicely with plain chrome smoothy caps for a complete chrome wheel look.

Another set I have are called Merco Wheel Discs, but apart from not fitting the '40 wheels anywhere near as well as the Calnevars, I only have three due to a piss-poor eBay seller.

These are my chrome ones, and the white Merco ones that I need a fourth to make the set. All of mine clip onto the centre of the '40s Ford wheels, but not securely enough that I'd run them without caps.

MoPaR offered the WIDE trim rings in white plastic, white-painted steel and stainless.
All I've ever seen fit under the hubcap in the center and out to the rim lip.

Rem, those chrome ones are cool. I'd like to see what they would look like on the car. They definitely smooth out the wheel. Those you have cover the whole wheel. The Lyon brand only covers 80-90 percent of the 40 ford wheel, which to me would lend itself more to the Wide 5 rims.

Took this one tonight when I got home from work (getting dark around six o'clock so it isn't the brightest photo). It is (obviously :)) one of the chrome covers with an aftermarket smoothie cap, on a '40 wheel with grubby 6.00-16 wide white.
