History M-18 Buick Hellcat Tank

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Scotch Buzzard King, Jun 19, 2010.

  1. Does anybody have a picture of the Hellcat logo that Buick used to adorn the side of the M-18? I need a good picture of it to paint on my old Buick. Thanks.

I stretched it out a bit, but don't have the right software to stretch it diagonally and make it round. I'm sure someone on here can make it round for you.

What you are showing there is a sleeve patch for the WWII tank destroyer units. General Motors may have used this in some adverti*****ts during the war, but it was an offical army authorized patch worn by men in these units-my father being one. If you do a web search you will find that Oldsmobile also used this likeness in some WWII ads.

  5. This logo is one of the most bad *** that I have ever seen.
