SOLD! Here's a Muncie M20 that was in a running and driving car just recently. The customer just decided to put an automatic in his car. This will fit in and work for almost all 1955-81 GM models, (Chevy, Olds, Pontiac, and Buick) with no modifications or other issues. Main case 3925661 Side cover 3884685 Tail housing 3857584 Gear ratios: 2.52 / 1.88 / 1.46 / 1.00 The gears all look good and there are no broken ears or stripped bolt holes. The only apology is that somewhere along the line somebody drilled out the four holes to mount the bearing retainer (snout) and tapped them for a bigger bolt. If it was going in my car, I would probably put a rebuild kit in it before installing it, although it had absolutely no problems while in the car a few months ago. When this trans is spun over, it feels good with no major slop or issues. The main case is perfect with no cracked or broken ears and no welds or damage. The counter-gear pin doesn't protrude from the case, indicating no wear in the pin bore. The tail shaft is in excellent shape as well with no cracks, damage, or repairs anywhere. There is NO BUILD DATE stamped, however there is CCO 46262 which designates it as an "over the counter" transmission. $695 plus the ride My name is Joe and I can be reached at 912-278-1314 anytime from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. EST.
