Not everyone has the skills to build a period vehicle, the "S-10 frame club" is doing what they can and having fun, I see no issue. It's not as if they are driving "Tetnus Turds" aka Rhatt Rodz and endangering themselves and all around them with questionable and marginable mechanical throw togethers.

Please don't pollute my thread any more with this sort of thinking.

Absolutely incredible fab work, makes me want to do more than just "nice" work. thanks for setting the bar back up where it belongs. wish i new how to use the computer better, but paper and pen will have to do, along with my puny human skills. this is going to be one of the nicest cars ive seen in quite some time. keep up the great work.

Thankyou for photo documenting this build, especially the up close chassis fabrication detail pics. I have been studying this from start to present. For a guy like me who's trying to "up his game" this is an amazing learning tool and why I go on the HAMB. Happy Thanksgiving.

  16. let me just say that your craftsmanship is top-notch...I found this thread on Turkey day and it was well worth the time to spend reading the entire thread. great videos and great pics as well.. thank you for building a true hot rod in true hot rod fashion and not taking the easy way out. as for s10 frames- they have their place.....right under s-10 sheetmetal. any way, thanks again for your taking the time to share with us your incredible skills. Jeff

last time I was over he had a batch ready for delivery, but you'll end up having to do some messin' around with the center of the crossmember for a T-5.

  25. Just sold two pairs of the bolt on legs for the stock front K-member this morning.

The T5 is a bit smaller and should fit just fine.

Ok. I still want a 29 A Sedan on Deuce rails to go along with the engine and trans that are in my storage box but haven't decided on exactly what to do about a frame. Washington state laws on home welded frames being what they are I'll probably have to use an original frame or have one built by a shop with a statement of origin with it. Or buy the rails and X member, tack it together and take it over to my buddys and hope he has a few hours to finish welding it and sign off that he welded it. I really like that X member though and may have to see what I can sell off to afford one and go from there.

Thanks Steve, it looks like I better start sorting though the sheds to see what I can sell off.

  28. I got to go with PITMAN on his feelings on this post. Keep all the crap out of it. It is a OUTSTANDING BUILD. Let it continue. I dig this ride. Keep it going.

You know, in a modern day world of E-Badasses that spew and foam all over the interweb, it is refreshing to know someone like Steve that is so immensely skilled, yet so humble .

Maybe he will post up some tech here. If he doesnt , check it out at his website or on the Industrial Chassis Facebook page.
