History M/T in Hot Rod

The December issue of Hot Rod has 19 pages dedicated to telling Mickey's story, and the latest on his son Danny's salt efforts. Great read!! Cover is a nice shot of Danny with his father's 69 Mustang along side '08 salt racer mustang.

 

I used to hang with Danny a bunch back in the 80's. He is a great guy and a lot of fun to be around. Knew Mickey somewhat through our racing in the Stadium series with off road trucks. If you know Danny ask him about the time he broke both arms on a street bike, kinda funny story.

Just when I think I'm going to quit getting that rag a good story like M/T 's comes along!

 

Me too, but the subscriptions are so damn cheap, it's worth it for one or two good stories like this a year.

 

I'll have to pick it up. Haven't got that rag in awhile- cutting back on subscriptions lately- not enought time to read them all.
M/T was one of my old customers.
How old is Danny now?
