Not being critical but where is the steering, oil filter and exhaust? What is the deal with the coil over shocks and what looks like a bolt welded to the frame? We have all been guilty of building engine mounts before the chassis is ready and it will bite you.

With all that weight I'd run an engine tube. I recall a 32 with a 351 that was mounted similarly and the frame twisted over time due to the weight of the engine. I helped a friend fix it by rolling the frame on both sides back to where it should be and fitting an engine tube. What a PITA as top had rolled in and bottom had rolled out.

actually don't see any room problem....525 or vega box, block hugger headers and standard or short oil filter.....bolt isn't a bolt but part of the coil over set up....I have everything to change it back to leaf spring.........I've got room to run a engine tube...probably not a bad idea...have run the same set up in a 40 and an A ....put around 5k on them didn't have frame problem but think I put the bar in anyways.

Good mockup man; surprised ‘aaggie’ didn’t mention you don’t have a Radi either.

I have a modified 460 that I 'planted' in my '54 Ford Coupe. Mega H.P., engine is quite compact for its Cubes...
But later, in a fit of sanity, I removed it and instead prepped my '54 for its 406 FE. 3 speed toploader with Jeep tower, 'real' floorshift and long stick bring back the '60s...

A '60 Falcon would be nice with a 2X3 chassis and the 460...and my Mustang Tremac...or a Datsun... LOL
