Does anyone have a recommendation for a good machine shop within 2-3 hours of Omaha? The ideal shop will have experience with EarlyHemi engines....just trying to hookup a customer to someone close to him. Thanks Gary
Royce at the E&R (big A) In north platte is a great machinist. Not sure his Hemi experience, but he does the majority of the local dirt track guys motors.
That's easy...I always use Chuck at Willard Auto Machine. 7620 North 96th, Omaha, 68122 Call him at 402-573-8984 WWWdirtdrivers.com/wam He gets tired of working on the same ol' racer's chevy small blocks and loves a challenge. He's done all my Pontiac machine work. During ***embly, I always check tolerances and measurements and he's always been spot-on.
Bob Morton Enterprises 11415 E 23rd St S Independence, MO 64052 (816) 254-4043 Intersection/Between: S Vermont Ave & S Norwood Ave He is the Hemi guru in this area. I know it is about 3-3.5 hours from Omaha but he is supposed to be the best around for Hemi's
I'll second what @Rocky said. Chuck at Willard Auto Machine does great work. Right here in Omaha. http://www.wampowered.com/services.htm Malcolm
Charley's Speed & Machine in Blair, NE. 20 miles north of Omaha, I've used them since the early 70's.
