When I inteviewed Jimmy White he told me about this movie that he was in a long time ago called "DESPERATE GENERATION" that was kinda like MFS
but 10 years ago..He gave me a VHS and it sent me back when I started hanging around the "Scene"... Seeing the Shifters and the Lucky Devils
from back in the dayz was really cool. It's sorta New Skool but Ol Skool..
awww the days before the "Rat Rod" term was coined!!! just good ol Hot Rods...

Any way I was introduced to Emily who made the film for Film school when she was 19. I thought it need to be shown to the m***es...It has allot of familare faces and to see where these people are today is cool..still keeping the tradition alive!!!

    Coming Soon!!!

Wow Evel, that is too Cool. Those around in the Socal scene (lack of better words) will spark some good meories. I remeber when the Doll Hut was the place to hang. This whole thing was a rebellion, it felt right at the time. Lookin forward to this. So when's the due date?

extra footage talking how he wants to put togther a weekender called
    Viva Las Vegas...
I hope to have it by The Round Up..there still is a few things I need to finish
before it goes to the replicator then it takes 10 days frome there..

Some serious memories there dude!!! I miss those days of hanging out with my fellow club mates in the Shifters. That Video is something special to me, One of my best friends made it. I am glad that you and Emily got together to distribute the video.

Would it be cool or dumb to reproduce a film like this with some new "that was then, this is now" footage of some of the survivors from the era inserted in it? Or is that what you're doin, Evel?

    Pete

S'pose it would be cool for those of us that don't personally know these people and dumb for those that were there.

Cool. Now I won't have to settle for watching the scratchy VHS copy that my buddy Jim has had for years.

I've seen one of the original copies, and I can vouch for the quality of the content. Emily made a great movie.

    Buy it! :)

Well we still need to go through the bonus footage.,,I would like to
have at least one live song for each band that was in it ..and whatever
is funny..I'm definatly going to put all the Super 8 footage in there its too
cool to leave out,,and also her first short "Bad Reputation" witch is with
Tom Pendelton tattoing himself..I'm still working on it..
