Have had some troubles over how the exhaust should look, fortunatly there is the HAMB to get ideas!

Found a thread with Offy engines in 30s Fords and all of the engines were running the type of header that were used in indy type cars but with a blockoff plate and a through pipe to a underneath system.

So thats what i had to do......

Got some bends from my local parts shop and bought some flanges for a vw bug wich were a perfect fit, the coned tube i already had laying around.

5 hours of grinding, welding and grinding and it's almost done, need to do the blockoff plate and the connection to the exh. system.

The good thing when working on the 4 is that it's only one header to do...

    Have a good day.:)

Wow, that's crazy. I like it. Looks like some good work on that. Seems like it's just about dumping right into the firewall now. How are you planning to finish it?

The alfa engine fits like a glove with no hacking in frame or body, except a little in the floor.
The ch***ie is almost stock, has a dropped front and 40 brakes, will change to a quickchange instead of the stock rear.

It will get old swedish made JP slotmags with high diagonals.

Will put on some nice filters or trumpets on the webers and run it hoodless or maybe without the sides.

    Fenderless of co****!! :)

The engine is from a 1965 giulia 106 din hp 5speed twin weber 40.

Hopefully it will be a quick little car :)

Love love the Alfa powered Hot Rod idea. Close friend want to give me a donor Fiat 124 Spider, for my Track T project. Glad to see you are thinking outside the "block". :p Nice craftsmanship on the headers.
