Hot Rods Made a hood top for my roadster!

    Bought a sheet of .050 ally a few weeks back, finally had a chance to knock this thing out yesterday. I'm thrilled with the results! Though if I was smart, I would have do***ented this project and submitted it for tech week.... doh!:mad:

    I have some old lunch-box style latches and I think I'm gonna bash out a few side panels next week. Diggit...:cool:

    you could have used my hood tech thread, but mine leaves out the last part of making it look that louveredly gnarly!

    them there louvers were made w/the "baliegh" louver tool and the hood edges were rolled w/a "baiegh roller ! now there ! pay the man his $1000.00

    Thanks guys, I really dig it too. I'll update with the side panels as soon as they're done. Yea Jim, those are gin-you-wine Kohlerkustom Hand-Hewn (tm) louvers.

    Guys walked right by your ride last night and didnt even know it was yours.With the top off and windshield down that hood gave it a whole different look.
    One of the Best band sounds yet out at Daryls.For a last minute deal the movie night went Great!!. A little brisk on the way home!
    Another Kohler signature saying..Hand-Hewn and dont forget S*** F..K
