    Don's Hot Rods

    Let me paraphrase...

We certainly are intelligent enough to engineer good products, and We have the workforce to do it, so all it would take is for Us to decide that it would be advantageous to start competing in a different direction than We do today.

Bought some Dole peaches the other day. Got home and saw China in little wee letters. Took them back to the store! They feed their own kids Melamine in their formula, what would they feed me? No thanks Hop Sing, I'll wait for the fruit truck to bring me fresh local stuff.

Last year I saw a large ***ortment of t shirts with American flags and patriotic statements on them at whale mart. A check of tags revealed a few made in china but none made in USA. I'll never settle with a reality that compromises my country. I thank God everyday I was made in the USA.

I paid out my *** for a set of Real Rodders wheels. Great stuff, made in U.S.A., but damned pricey.....

Blame the government, blame regulations, blame micromanagement, blame whoever the hell you want but one FACT remains. We can't compete against a nation of people who work for slave wages.

FACT: the Asians who got my team's software jobs back in 2009 (including mine) - part of their salary is paid in rice. RICE! I saw the paperwork first hand. It's kinda hard for anyone to compete against that!

Thanks for the site. That's great. Will order. About two and a half times the price.

If you don't like it/them then don't ****ING buy it. Just because it's made here doesn't mean it's quality, on the same level just because it's made there doesn't mean it's junk. As Don said some of the stuff we use every day is quality and made there.

What a STUPID ******** thread, how many times are we going to keep posting on this subject, it's BEAT to death. Great, now i'm turning into one of those guys, i just posted on on it:cool::mad:
